My approach is to guide you through the necessary process of deep introspection that leads us all to experiment with the ways we move through life. 

To embrace and invest in the potential we carry for healing, we must challenge our perceptions of what works for each chapter of life and what does not. Just because we survive a past experience based on choices we credit ourselves for making does not mean the same choices remain beneficial indefinitely. When looking for a way to step into new states of being which are ideally more expansive and freeing than the last, it is often important to let go of how we survived up to the present before a new chapter can begin.

Health does not work backwards. We cannot achieve a life that looks like we have initiated the Self we see in our dreams by trying to return to a state of being we once had. There is a time and place to honor where we came from, but this practice is distinct and separate from the vision we must cultivate for our futures. 

If you are unwell, and want to see a real lasting difference in how you feel in your daily life, it means you have to change. It means trying new ways of living. It means not giving up when progress eludes you. It also means you are being called to embark on a journey where momentum will come only when you learn to embrace moments of discomfort as the blessings that they are.

Real health only comes through celebration of these signals that something does not belong, that words are left unspoken, that parts of you have perhaps been forgotten, and that your Truth is trying to call for you through what means we as humans possess to communicate with our Selves. For us to thrive, for health to be fully expressed, the first relationship we need to heal is the one we hold between our minds and our hearts. 

My ‘job’ in our relationship is to assist you in learning to recognize, understand, appreciate, accept, and act on the signals our bodies give us. In doing so, the very sources of our discomfort become starting points for an open dialogue between body, mind, and spirit. This conversation can lead us into new levels of comfort in our own skin and trust in our ability to heal.

As a new self-relationship grows roots, we can also find trust in our passions and desires which breeds confidence in our ability to change. From this adaptive state of being, I believe any human can act on the creation of what idea of life many of us only ever long for. What was longing becomes seeking, and where lack of direction once stemmed from, a True North arises.

How do we get started?

  1. Set up a free 60 minute Discovery Call over Zoom. I will hear you out and help you decide if I am the right fit for your needs.

  2. Fill out intake information including personal history, health appraisal questionnaires, and track nutrition+hydration+movement+sleep for 7 days with a lifestyle tracking journal - all details will be supplied via email after our Discovery Call.

  3. Review of Findings, Goal Setting & Committing to a Season of Growth: A 120 minute heart to heart meeting over Zoom where I share my analysis of your intake forms. I help you define your long term vision of success, and we discuss what ways I may be of greatest service to you.

  4. Program Design & Getting Started: Complete fitness testing/physical assessments (where applicable), receive your first action steps, and begin to embark on the next chapter of your journey.

We help you learn to identify and listen to the signs your own body is giving you. Those notifications we receive when our bodies and minds are out of balance or overwhelmed (such as pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression, fluctuations in weight, skin conditions, sleep problems and digestive issues) are not usually signaling us that we need more medication or a day off or more time in front of the TV. Our bodies are letting us know that something is wrong. When we begin to listen, the messages from within our bodies change as well. They shift from grievances or roadblocks that keep us from living the life we wanted, to valuable allies and guiding lights that bring us closer to how we are meant to live. We are meant to live as happily, healthfully, graciously, humbly, and uniquely fully expressive versions of our selves.

What makes my Vitalistic Health and Lifestyle Guidance different?

The Power to Heal Comes from Within. I operate under the belief that the human body is designed to be a self-sustaining, self-regulating, self-healing system of intelligent design, animated by an innate wisdom permeating every molecule. If given the space and opportunity, the body will recover from any interference or ailment present within.

Healing does not occur from the introduction or removal of material or information - Healing comes in the form of a response from the innate intelligence present in our bodies to any and all stimuli. Healing happens constantly of its own accord, and is fully present in its fullest capacity at all times.

It is only when accumulation of interference from our environment, living habits, toxins, emotions, physical damage, stress, and repressed traumatic events overcome the body’s capacity to regulate healing that we begin to see signs of dis-ease manifest and signs of health decline.

If any condition presents itself I can’t help with personally, I am quick to refer out to a vast multi-disciplinary network of experts in various healthcare fields, or help you vet an appropriate practitioner near you.

My Ultimate Goal is to make you your own greatest catalyst for healing and growth. I support my clients as they are empowered to take responsibility as their own primary creators of balance and well-being. My job is to lead you down the path of personal discovery until you outgrow me, and hopefully go on to lead by example as an inspiration for others to follow.

Working In - It is all too common today in the health industry to see either exercise prescribed, or rest. Nothing in-between. Recovery from training is sometimes walking, sometimes stretching, or maybe a yoga-based practice. But even most yoga and mobility exercise in America today is focused on exertion. How long can you hold a pose? How intense can it be? How deep can we make our stretches? Our nation is addicted to exertion – where focus is either on energy expenditure and breaking down tissues or on being completely sedentary.

I provide what’s missing in this modern fitness paradigm. CHEK Practitioners call it ‘Working In’ as coined by Paul Chek. These are modalities in your programming that actually build more energy than you expend. You leave being more awake, more energetic, and more resilient.
